Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Meyers sued
It is well known that King Henry V111 was a lusty man well used to getting his own way and never allowing anything or anyone to interfere with his plans. Now King Hal’s personality seems to have taken over actor Jonathon Rhys Meyers who starred as the English monarch in the hit series The Tudors.

Rhys Meyers was apparently trying to board a United Airlines plane at JFK last May considerably under the influence after imbibing more vodka than necessary while waiting for his flight. He was barred from the early morning flight and indeed has now been barred from United for life.
Plaintiff Kathryn Williams is a customer service director at UA who was called in when Rhys Meyers began screaming and hurling abuse at the crew members who refused to let him board. He then, it is claimed, “committed tortuous acts consisting of verbally and physically abusing plaintiff causing her to sustain physical injuries and severe emotional distress”. Williams lawyer Jeff Berson says discussions with the defendant’s lawyers are already taking place. Williams has filed in the Supreme Court of Queens, New York as she is seeking more than the $15,000 damages allowable in the civil court. The incident has caused her serious physical and emotional problems and left her unfit to work, she has stated. Rhys Meyers had no justification whatsoever for his actions but then King Henry never needed any.
