Charles Brandon (Henry Cavill)
He is Henry’s friend from long ago. However, he had a short disagreement with him when he secretly married the widowed sister of Henry, Princess Margaret, after she was the Queen of Portugal. After that, he allied with the Duke of Norfolk and Viscount Rochford and became the cause of the fall of Cardinal Wolsey.

Charles Brandon is portrayed as a playboy during the first season. His playboy image was later on dissolved in the second season when he married Catherine Willoughby. He direly loathes the new queen and often has arguments with the Boleyns, on which his anger is often directed to Thomas. At the end of the second season, he physically fights with Thomas Boleyn when he saw that Thomas permitted the death of his offsprings, Anne and George, for the reason that he wanted power.
